Bobbie Michelle Bean is the personification of “Every Woman.” Bobbie’s dynamic, authentic, and unrelenting personality has been the catalyst to her success and growth in the real estate industry and various business ventures. The former Executive and mother of a young, budding fempreneur juggles motherhood in between being a Real Estate Agent, Investor, Serial Entrepreneur, Playwright, Author and Speaker.
Bobbie entered the world of real estate and investing at an early age and has been instrumental in launching the careers of many aspiring real estate investors throughout the US, both male and female alike. Bobbie continues to expand her influence, offering her expertise and mentorship through The Ruth Project, a movement she established to increase homeownership in the black community by way of its women.
Bobbie runs several successful businesses including Staged by Bobbie, Table for Two Catering, and Pamper Me Pretty which she co-owns with her daughter. Bobbie is also an Author. Her latest book Through Blind Eyes is the first in a series telling the stories of women of color surviving colorful life.
Through it all, the grind, the hustle, and the victories, nothing on earth matters more than family to this Cincinnati native. Bobbie’s greatest accomplishment is her beautiful daughter. Bobbie states “I filled my daughter with love, encouragement, and so much self-worth that her cup ran over leaving no room to receive the nasty untruths the world would have her believe about herself.”
Bobbie demonstrated a work ethic unmatched by many, making sure her daughter, nieces and nephews were watching and learning, so they would understand the effort necessary to be successful at anything. As a result, her daughter, an 18-year-old Freshman in college, is preparing to launch her second business, and Bobbie could not be prouder.
One of the biggest challenges successful women face is finding balance between work and family. Bobbie was not exempt. Her ex-husband and father of her child made choices that left her to raise her daughter alone with no financial support. Yet, through hard work and dedication, Bobbie provided a prosperous future for her family. This meant long hours, late nights, and distant commutes. Now, while perfect balance only exists in a utopia, Bobbie has managed to create some modicum of that ideology through her priorities, practices and her tried and trusted village who helped her over the years, manage to make family first.
Boss life is not always peaches and cream. Bobbie can attest to that. She has been on the ropes, even hit the canvas a time or two, but each time she got up. Each round she came out smarter than the last learning, adapting, adjusting, and reinventing. The bouts Bobbie has faced over the years made her the champion she is today. Having excelled from the boardroom to the WFA office (Work from Anywhere office), her endeavors, her investments as well her lessons over the past 20 plus years have pivoted her into a position where she can show others how to diversify their portfolios and create several streams of income.
Bobbie Michelle Bean is always thinking for the future, strategizing to execute her next move. That is the signature of a Queen-pin. Think, plan, do! Bobbie shares her secret to success…
“Someone once asked Edison how it felt to fail 10,000 times at making the light bulb. His response was, ‘I have not failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work. Many of life’s failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.’ I have adopted this motto. When I purpose in my heart to do something, I do not fear failing. Failing is not an option. I just get pumped up and ready to learn several ways not to do something.”
